    Question Download completed message
I am running the latest Mountain Lion and Google Chrome on my Macbook Pro. Every time a download has finished a message pops up 'Download Completed'. Does anyone know how to stop this? When I had Snow Leopard I had the same problem and found out how to stop it, unfortunately I have forgotten how to do it.

    Thanks

From what I remember, Chrome has never indicated when a download is complete. In the Advanced Settings, you can specify the default download folder and uncheck the option below that which would've prompted you to ask for the location for each download..

Thanks for your reply. It might not be a Chrome problem though. It does it through other progs as well.

Do you have any download accelerators or helpers installed?

Now sorted, it was in System Preferences/notifications.
