Hi

As I am a newbie to the Mac world, could anyone out there take me through the procedure step by step of installing snow leopard on my macbook pro (erasing HDD etc
My mac crashed a couple of days ago while trying to install an apple update (I bought it on ebay and it had no discs etc: it had mountain lion installed but I have no apple ID or password for it to reinstall over the internet ).

I am not too bothered about Mountain Lion I just want to get the machine up and running.

I have ordered a Snow Leopard disc from apple and would like to install it correctly.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Harry

Google will reveal a ton of tutorials available.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
