    Why is my Java not detected, even when it is enabled?

    Has anyone an idea how to deal woth pogo-games?

    Is Java enabled in the Safari preferences? I don't have Safari in front of me but I believe you want Safari > Preferences > Security. If its not that, the checkbox you want is the one that enables Java.

    Yes, it is enabled.

    Have you restarted Safari? If you haven't, you'll need to do so to have the changes effect.

    I had a friend that had the exact same issues. Updating to the latest Java from Sun Microsystems solved the issue.

    Have you checked to make sure you are RUNNING the latest version? The same site I linked to will let you know. You may well need to uninstall Java 6 before it will work.
