    Question desktop
My desktop is too large to fit the screen. I have no idea how this happened and I have tried all of the obvious ways to shrink it. Help

Is the windows/text that is too big? Could you have zoomed in by mistake?

Both cats & kids are certainly possible. From what I've seen posted...cats are in the lead! lol

That is a possibility but how do I correct it, the cat won't give it up.

Mainly it is the screen itself and each page I open requires me to scroll back and forth to see it all. I can shrink the page but it is not a permanent fix. Any suggestions?

Assuming that your desktop got magnified via a cat stepping on the keyboard keys. To fix things...go to:

    - Apple Menu
    - System Preferences
    - Accessability
    - Zoom

    Check those settings/keyboard shortcuts.

    HTH,

    - Nick

p.s. Depending on what version of Mac OS X you are running...the "Accessability" control panel used to be called "Universal Access".
