Kernel panics are usually associated with hardware faults but can be caused by faulty software. Anything recently changed on your MacBook, like adding memory or a new hard drive? And is it constantly going into panic or does it happen once in awhile?

You might want to try starting your MacBook up in Safe boot mode to see if it will operate without going into panic. That will remove all third party drivers and startup programs plus will verify your hard drive. It also removes sound. To go into safe mode press the Shift key as soon as you hear the startup chime and hold it until you see the spinning circle.
