Copy windows hard drive to partition on mac
I have my hard drive from my windows computer (500gb) that I need to copy, in it's entirety, to one partition on my mac... but disk utility won't let me do it when I try to use the Restore option and copy my windows drive to a partition on the mac drive... how would I go about doing this?

Why do you need to copy a 500 GB hard drive from a Windows machine to a partition on your Mac? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Even if you were to clone the partition, you wouldn't be able to boot Windows because the hardware configuration is different.
There is no system but GNU and Linux is one of its kernels.
