file sharing
Good day all...
I have a MacBook Pro networked with iMac both running OSx. On the iMac there are two users, one user I have full access (even though the folders aren't even listed under Shared folders) second user I had to list the folder in Shared Folders however I don't have any access to the subfolders. In all the subfolders they are listed to have full permission. Does anyone know what is going on?????
Thank-you in advance!

You can try repairing permissions.
To repair permissions:
- Open Disk Utility, located at /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
- Select your startup disk on the left of the Disk Utility window
- Select First Aid from the tabs
- Click the "Repair Disk Permissions" button

Your message isnt too clear about what which folder you are talking about. If you want to change the permissions of a folder and all sub folders, you have to choose the option "Apply to enclosed items" in the info window... Im not sure this is what your talking about though.
