Hi,
Mac user since May 1984. Mac Support and System setup/design consultant since 1986.
New 2012 Late MacMini, Mtn Lion, Vizio 32" digital LED/LCD TV/Monitor.

Is there anyone in this forum that is Automator savvy???

I am dumb as broccoli in Automator and need some help.

KFVE in Honolulu is streaming Merrie Monarch in April. I will be sound asleep for 99% of it as I live in CDT zone, 5 (FIVE) hours behind the Merrie Monarch International Hula Competition.

The NEW version of QuickTime player will allow me to record a window size of the stream, but I have to be awake to push the button.

If I had an Automator script where I could preset the start and ending times to record, setup the window or full screen and go to bed, I would be a happy camper.

Setting window size or Full Screen could happen on Wed. Apr. 3rd during the stream/broadcast of the backstage stuff, and give me a good test of whether or not its going to work.

Anyone willing to kokua me and create a script or app in Automator???
QUOTE Thanks

Have a look at this

It's a little dated but the principle is the same and gives step by step information on oing exactly what you want

External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup

Please use the reputation system if you think you've been helped - top right of this post
