Did you read the system requirements for TT Deluxe before you purchased it?

See below:

Minimum System Requirements

Processor Intel-based Processor (64-bit required for Mac OS 10.6.8)
Operating system
Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later
Mac OS X v10.7.5 or later
Mac OS X v10.8.0 or later
If you have an older Mac computer with a 64-bit Intel processor and at least 1GB of RAM , you may be able to upgrade to v10.6.8 by contacting Apple.
RAM 1 GB
Hard Disk Space
Federal Products: 330 MB
State Products: 30 MB
Federal plus State Products: 360 MB
CD-ROM Drive 2X CD-ROM drive
Monitor 1024768 screen resolution
Internet Connection (REQUIRED)
56 Kbps (Broadband connection recommended)
Printer Any Macintosh-compatible inkjet or laser printer

As you can easily see, you need to upgrade to at least Snow Leopard 10.6.8 before you can use TT Deluxe for the Mac.

Thanks for the reply/answer

Did you read the system requirements for TT Deluxe before you purchased it?

No, unfortunately I didn't.
I used TT deluxe on my Mac in 09 10 11 & 12 & just assumed it would also work this year.

In my defense, the system requirements aren't listed on the dvd/cd box, or the disc itself.

I talked to Apple tech support Thursday & they agreed to send me a free upgrade disc.
They said it would be here by Friday, or at the latest Saturday.

I didn't get it today, so hopefully Monday

Thanks again

Well, it doesn't surprise me that Intuit didn't print the system requirements on the box or CD. They have about the worse support of any major software publisher (in my opinion). I used Tax Act this year. Anyway, good luck with your taxes.
