Image link is not working. You could just tell us what model Mac-Mini it is. For starters...what cpu does it have?

I am trying to use the image icon in the post dialogue box that asks for the URL. I can't seem to get it to work.

Yeah...I got confused above when I mentioned "Mac-Mini"!

If you have a MacBook 5,1...then yes I'm happy to say...it can be upgraded to Mountain Lion (OS 10.8).

    Specs:
    Imac 27" Retina 3.3GHz, 512GB Flash, 16GB memory, OS X.11.4.
First up purchase Snow Leopard from Apple Online for $20.00, update to OS X.6.8 and then into the App Store and download Mountain Lion.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    Specs:
    Mid-2012 MBP (16GB, 1TB HD), Monoprice 24-inch second monitor, iPhone 5s 32GB, iPad Air 2 64GB
I would *strongly* recommend maxing out the RAM to 8GB. A cheap upgrade that will make a *world* of difference both overall and specifically for running Mountain Lion:

    MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.0 13" (Unibody) Specs (Late 2008 Aluminum, MB466LL/A, MacBook5,1, A1278, 2254) @ EveryMac.com

Pay attention to the caveat on that page about upgrading beyond 6GB of RAM.
