Snow Leopard is available from the Apple on line store for $19.99. Which Mac did you buy? It has to be an Intel powered Mac or you can not install Snow Leopard.

It is an Intel Powered mac. I searched on in the Apple online store and couldn't find Snow Leopard there. That's where my question came from.

I just did a quick search in the store for Snow Leopard and I was directed to the page where it is available. However, it may not be available in your regional store (I don't know if Apple is limiting sales to particular locales). I do notice however that you do have to search for it - you'll never find it otherwise.

Head for the main page of apple.com - select the 'Store' link at the top - on the next screen, head for the search field and search for Snow Leopard.
