OS 10.4 - Removing files FROM burn folder

As has been discussed here in the past, deleting a file from a burn folder results in the deletion of the actual file from your machine. Can anyone tell me how I can remove a file/subfolder from a burn folder without deleting the original? Thanks.

Deleting an item from a burn folder doesn't delete the original. I think it did on the very first build of 10.4, but now it aliases the file into the burn folder.

Delete at will. :mac:

I'm on 10.4.4 and just tried it about 6 different ways, and not one time did it delete the original.
