Hello

I am trying to help a friend access a website using FTP. No matter what we try nothing works. We keep getting the message that an unknown error happened. I have been able to access the site from my PC and Linux computers without any problems. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Richie

If you are trying to do it via the Finder, it will only work if his server supports WebDAV. (?)

Download a dedicated FTP client and use that instead.
http://cyberduck.ch/ is a popular free one.
Transmit is shareware, but the best IMO.
