Advice on mail + automator

Hi
Anybody explain (or tell me where I can find the "how to"!) - want to find a fast way of forwarding emails - to omnifocus or to evernote, depending on what I need to do with it! Can I use automator? I'm reasonably competent with instructions but not used it before!
