Need some advice...
When I purchased my new IMac about 5 years ago, I had some files transferred from a first generation Blueberry IMac which included lots of documents written in what I think was called Macwrite....and I could access all those documents.
I recently purchased an upgrade to 10.6.8 so that I could run the later ITunes etc and all seemed well, until I just tried to access those old files which now seem to be converted to Keynote docs and I get a message saying they are not presentations and can't open them...
Anyone have any advice...::

They are most likely Apple Works files

Try opening them in Pages
