download icon on imac toolbar

like others my download folder has disappeared from toolbar
However i have just down loaded to OS lion and struggling to find way through in new finder which has floored my
Any ideas?

Mac Specs: 21in iMac core2 Duo- 13in macbook - 10.9 on both

Click on Finder icon in the Dock. Drag the Downloads folder to the right side of the Dock. (near the Trash can but NOT on it)

Thanks but cannot see download folder in finder its this silly new OS lion where I cannot find anything!

It's in the same place it's always been, unless you've moved it, in which case you're on your own.
