OS 10.4 - NORTON not recognising HDD!!!

Hello everyone this is my 1st post so be nice....

I am currently on OS 10.4.3, I installed Noton System Works, however when i go to Disk Doctor or Speed Disk my Hard Drive will not appear and I cannot drag it into the window to perform the neccessary operations....

Can anyone help???

I believe you cannot run those modes on a boot volume. I wouldn't either.

Norton is not as mac friendly as you might think. If you're bent on making it work try booting to the norton cd and running those tests.

Be warned it may not yield a desired outcome.

Norton's Utilities or Systemworks is not compatible with any version of OS X above 10.3.7. Symantec discontinued developement several years ago.
