I IPhoto, some of my pictures are not visible, and are surrounded by a dotted line. The pictures are there, when I scroll through them, but when I stop scrolling, some of the pictures disappear, and are replaced with a blank surrounded by a dotted line. I get a message that says, " image can't be edited, original is offline". How can I get my pictures to display again?

Then open iPhoto and "Import" them from that folder where you placed them all in.

It will then be permanent and you do not need to go online again.
The pictures are already downloaded to the computer
