TinaB is on a distinguished road

TinaB is offline
when I last transferred photos from my iphone to iphoto on the macbook, I accidently interrupted the synchronizing process and might have caused some damage..?
Suddenly I can not get the photos to full size anymore, only small icons visible. itunes/skype are not working anymore - sound device apparently not existent...
Also, a USB stick is no longer recognized.
Can anyone help, please?
QUOTE Thanks
