Hi all, new iMac user here. Still trying to figure out the Mac OS file system protocols compared to Windows that I used for many many years...a bit different but I am catching on.

I have several temp JPEG files on my desktop that I cannot delete. Any suggestions?

Issue solved with a re-boot...temp files gone.
