Mac noob here.

I just bought a second-hand Mac Mini with a fresh re-install of OS X 10.4.2. I would like to upgrade it to OS X 10.6 or higher. store.apple.com has confusing information about Lions and Tigers and Bears (oh, my!), but I don't understand what product I need to buy and install to achieve my goal.

Is there a way to upgrade to 10.6 or higher? If so, how?
QUOTE Thanks

Hopefully some not quite as confusing upgrade info for you here
"What OS Disk Do I Need?" A Brief Overview

Give that a read and if you still need help post your Mac specs.

I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .

You're post is confusing as well...since you did not tell us what model Mac-Mini you have.

Mac-Mini's have been around since 2005. There have been 22 different models...so it's difficult to guess which one you have.
