I play WGT (World Golf Tour) online and challenge others playing golf online. I enjoy the game since I play it in real life as well. My issue is, that every about 10 minutes or so, my iMac computer goes into this "crunching" mode that lasts about a continuous 2-3 minutes and that messes up my "swing meter" during the game, in other words the meter goes "too fast" in an uncontrollable fashion, which ultimately messes up my shot 99% of the time. Anyone knows a way around this issue? How can I stop this crunching pattern (or delay it) from happening? Any helpful comments are appreciated.

You need to launch the Activity Monitor app to see what is causing that sudden spike in activity
