Reinstall Help SL to Lion

Hey Guys i needed some help I had to replace my hard drive today and i had Lion installed but only had the old Snow Leopard disks to reinstall. Don't know how to download the app store so i can get to my download of Lion.. Waterboy3

You need to install Snow Leopard...then update Snow Leopard to at least 10.6.6 to get access to the Mac App Store.

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz OS X.9.4

And when you get into the App Store, hold down Option and hit Purchases and Lion should appear if you downloaded it earlier. Double click and it will download again f.o.c. Before running install burn a copy to a USB thumb drive which will be bootable.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
