How to hide the menu bar when watching youtube?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but when I open up a fullscreen youtube video, the menu bar stays (I am on safari)

Are you referring to the Dock at the bottom ?
 > System Preferences > Dock > check box to hide the dock.

I don't really want the whole things gone, I was just wondering if there is a setting so that when I open up a youtube fullscreen, it removes the dock, I know it used to do this
