Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and feel good on this place. I have lost my leopard CD so I downloaded Mac OSX 10.6 SnowLeopard Retail Disc from the legit source (Private Torrent).

I have actually a problem to upgrade my mac to snow leopard.
My situation is following.. I have a 2008 iMac ...with a 1Tb HD .... which broke the other day and from that time everything is running from my external HD. I tried to use a DL disk and also my usb stick to boot from it and install snow leopard, but I am not even starting the installation process and it's telling me already "mac os x cannot be installed on this computer" ...Any tips?

Thanks for your help in advantage...!

WE dont discuss installing torrent installers on the forum

Just buy a proper retail copy from Apple or ebay

Uh, no; there is no legitimate way to download a full version of Snow Leopard. You've downloaded a pirated version. Delete it. If you did get it to work, you'd undoubtedly have problems.

Good advice above. Snow Leopard is $29 USD from Apple.

I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .
