    wifi forgetfulness
Hi, I'm new on this forum.

I have this question about the wifi on my MacBook, as it keeps forgetting the network it's on
every time it's turned off, logged off or sleeps.

And on top of that, it takes some doing to get it back on again, and I have to select the network/router manually.

    Thanks, Ibanezi

ps. I posted it here as it is yet to determine whether it's a hardware or software question, I hope y'all bear with me.

When you are prompted to enter your WiFi networks password...the window should have a "checkbox" for "Remember this Network".

Yeah, it must have done the same last night, but I don''t remember.
Anyway, it took some fiddling, but I did manage to get into system preferences/ network/advanced...and there was a 'remember networks" option.

    Thanks Nick, much oblige.
