trash problem

Trying to "empty trash" and it says that [U] it can not proceed--"error code- 8003"
Anyone know how to resolve this?

Mac Specs: 2.66ghz Intel Core i7 8GB 1067 MHz

Have you tried go into trash then click on finder button and try secure empty trash
