If I turn on my audio, music plays. I don't even know what music it is or where it's coming from. I can hear what I turned the audio on to hear but the music is always playing also. I thought it was coming from Itunes so I turned down Itunes volume but that had no effect. Do you have any idea where its coming from or how to stop it? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thanks, Hutchism. It happens every time I turn on the audio. I will look in the activity monitor. I'm really a novice. All help is appreciated.

I did kind of mean restarting the machine. But activity monitor should sort you.

Hang on, what do you mean by "turning on the audio?"

Do you mean turning on your external speakers?

If so, you just have bad shielding on your audio wires and are probably pulling in a radio station.
