imac woes

i have an imac that does not have airport. i would like to connect to the wireless router i have connected to my pc. i have a novatel usb card but need some expert help. cant figure out how to get it all to work. help.

Helps enormously if you provide fill details as to computer, operating system and model of the USB card. perhaps it is one of these:-

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

the imac specs are-osx 10.5.8 processor 1.8 ghz g5. 2 gb ram. card is netopia tergusb/n.
