can't find Facebook and many other sites :(

HI all I'm running MAC OSX 10.5.8 ON my iMac and on my Macbook pro.
Everything is working fine on my macbook pro but not on my iMac anymore..

I can view most sites but not Facebook or my banking sites or paypal.

What could the problem possibly be?

Check your DNS settings (network prefs>advanced) - try using OpenDNS instead -
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

I agree, this definitely sounds like a DNS issue. In addition to OpenDNS, you should be able to grab the DNS settings off your MBP and use those same numbers from your MBP on your iMac.
