Oh, and before you go reading into this, I am a bit of a noob at using Mac software or any kind of software in general. I know the basics, and a little bit of the advanced, but when I am just saying be weary.

Okay, now that I got that out of the way, let me explain my story. I had am currently trying to figure out how to make a bukkit server for minecraft on mac. Part of the process of making a server is by saving a .command document, which when I tried to save it my computer said it had to be a .rtf. I let that go and then went into 'Get Info' and changes the extension to .command, which it let me do. I then tried opening the file, and I get a message which looks exactly like this, this is actually a screenshot:

What do I do to stop this? I tried to repair and verify my disk permissions using Disk Utility, but nothing changed when trying to open the file again.

My Specs:

Mac OS X
MacBook Pro
Version 10.6.8
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Oh, and also, I think this may be the reason why this doesn't work because it did before, I mean, I think I know why this doesn't work now, but at another time it did work on this computer. A couple months ago, I think, 3 or 4, I had to reset this computer back to it's original settings.
QUOTE Thanks
