Hello,

I've seen a few videos before where they show how to do a fresh OS X install video, or show their macs start-up screen.
I use Screenflow to do my screen captures but how do people screen record their startup or show their screen before the computer even start???
I wanted to do the same and would like to know how.
Any idea how they do this?
QUOTE Thanks

Install Lion using VMWare Fusion.

You get a windowed mode of the virtual machine allowing for screen grabs.

thank you for the reply Macswork.
so if I get VMWare Fusion and use a windows screen capture app that means I can screen capture the installing process right?
or are you just talking about screen grabs (still images)

You'll be able to screen grab from OS X. Either the native keyboard shortcuts or a number of other screen recording apps.
