Good morning fellow mac users.

I've got a question about parental control. I'm working on 20 macbooks atm to set them up and get them ready for an educational environement. I've been asked to make sure stuff like Parental Control are in effect too. Now I've read somewhere (can't recall where tho) that you can set up parental control via a wifi connection.

Thing is I can't really find anything about the subject. Could anyone enlighten me?

Cheers.

Do you mean set it up remotely rather than being in front and using the actual Mac in question?

Aye, that's exactly what I mean

Edit: I found the remote desktop app provided by Apple, but 60 euro isn't what I'm willing to spend (even if I wanted to, I can't).

Then you can use any number of remote desktop applications but the easiest one to use without too much setup fuss is Screen Sharing.

To setup you'll need to go to each machine in turn and enable screen sharing:
OS X Lion: Share your screen with other computer users

Once that's done you can (and assuming all these Macs are connected to the same network) you can just go into Finder and click on the Mac you want to control then click Connect As... at the top of the Finder Window.
Once connected you'll be able to do everything as if you were sat in front of that Mac
