being new here i am not sure where to postsome of my problems.
before i lost everything in a re-install, i had on the top right side of the (can not think what the nomenclature is) the month, day, date and year, now all i have is: "Sat 7:53" i have tried everything i can to get back what i once had. can anyone help ?? |

I moved your post to the correct forum and changed the subject so that it makes more sense. Now, tell us which version of OS X you're using?
You can make adjustments to the way the date time is displayed in the top menu from System Preferences, Language & Text. Click on the "Formats" tab and make the changes you wish. |

That is definitely the checkbox to add the month and date (I just double checked here). Try logging out and back in.
