Hey everyone,

Last night, I found out that my Gmail had been accessed from some unknown IP in Japan, which Gmail caught of course. And it prompted me to change my password so I did, and having no issues with signing into gmail. But right after, my iCal was not able to access the Gmail account to sync. I figured it's because I changed the password for my gmail. However when i try to use the new gmail password, it comes up incorrect. Here is the message:

"the password may have been entered incorrectly. Reenter the password for account gmail on the CalDAV server "calendar.google.com"

But how can I find what password I used for that? I've not really been using my iCal much. Is it the same password to log into the Mac?

And sorry for seeming scarce. Ive been busy with classes the last couple months. My Mac has been running fine though except for a few little issues but I managed to figure those out.

Google uses the same credentials across their services (at least the ones I use which include calendar and GMail). Make sure your configuration matches the configuration settings here.

Ah thanks Van for replying. I checked the link, but I'm not really sure what to do on that page. I can't tell where to find configuration setting. I've tried my main password too and its not working. I don't even really use iCal that much so I could take it or leave it. Its just now popping up on my screen every time I wake it up.

If you check the instructions for iCal on that page, it gives you the values for the settings.

It might be easier to simply remove and re-add the account to iCal.
