Hi.
Im trying to burn a DVD +R DL in Disk Utility.
Im trying to burn a .dmg file onto it without it saying Disk Burn In: Superdrive

I heard that if you right-click on the file in Finder there is an option to burn it onto the disc. I dont have that.

thanks

Do you actually have a Dual Layer burner? Go into About this Mac > More Info > System Report > Disc Burning and see if there is a mention of +R DL / -R DL. If not you do not have a DL burner.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
