Seagate goflex drives

I believe that I just installed an goflex seagate external hard drive on my Imac cpu. Now my computer does do see it ... any ideas as to how I can find and repair the icon?

Not quite sure I understand your question?

You installed a new Seagate GoFlex external hard drive but your iMac does not show it on the desktop? If that's true, open Finder, click on preferences, click on the General tab, and make sure that you have "Hard disks" checked under "Show these items on the desktop"
