I have just managed to transfer my old iPhoto library from my old macbook to my new macbook pro. ( don't know how to delete my other thread ) and some of my old digital camera videos won't play. On my old macbook quicktime would play it, whereas now quicktime pro opens but says I'm missing a codec. Now i tried download a few things iskysoft converter but i don't want to have to convert every video i have is there anyway of transferring the codec that must have been on my old laptop. Or is there anyway to identify exactly what codec i need, the websites I've looked at seem to be quite complicated. If it helps the digital camera was a samsung.
Thank you. |

Try installing Perian, which extends Quicktime's codec support
