Exclamation Leopard to Snow Leopard upgrade
    Hi All

    Need some help please

Have macbook with leopard and have purchased snow leopard from apple store.

Generally from what I have been reading it is better to do a full install not just an upgrade

I also have my documents and images and some programs that i want to use going forward.

If this information if here already an link to the thread would be great if not some help from somebody with the know how would be helpful.

If you've been doing a lot of upgrades..Tiger->Leopard->Snow Leopard->Lion and so on, it's possible that you've built enough cruft along the way that a re-install would make sense..

But going from just Leopard to Snow Leopard (or Snow Leopard to Lion in my case), the upgrade is your best bet and will ensure minimal disruption...

Do ensure that you have a backup of all of your important documents before doing the upgrade..
