OSStatus error -5410

Hi everyone!

My husband is currently doing a tertiary course which requires him to use Blackboard. There are some .wmv tutorials on there that I can't get to work in either Safari or Firefox. I have up to date versions of flip4mac and Perian installed (which is what the apple forums suggests), but I keep getting an OSStatus error -5410 message. Can anyone help?
