Why is my audio playback slow? In Final Cut Pro- to make it sound correct I must speed up the audio track to 103% to make it normal. All quicktime movies playback slower than normal. All audio from iTunes plays back slower than normal. all videos edited and outputted to DVD or quicktime playback normal on other macs and PC's. Could it be my power supply? Could it be my graphics card?
I'm stumped?????????

Mac OS X Vers. 10.6.8
2 x 2.93 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
28 GB Memory
SSD Hard Drive
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4870

Solution to problem was the Mackie ONYX 820i audio mixer. A reboot of the audio mixer and the problem was solved. The firewire 800 cable was fine, the firewire card was fine... no other issues... other than a happy operator- but I felt pretty stupid by missing the quick fix- turn it off/ turn it back on!
QUOTE Thanks
