"burn to disc"

This question is about the "burn to disc" option under the File drop down menu. Anything currently active on the desktop brings up this option which would be fine except I don't want to do that nor am I aware how I would have requested that.

All applications and files operate normally except I am not able to start servers with MAMP.

Hope this makes sense.
