I'm looking for a basic checkbook program. I don't need all the fancy stuff of being able to download my statements or do anything online from a bank account. Just want to be able to check at the end of the year how much money I paid to different people or accounts to do my taxes. Looking at IBank 4 but it keeps entering things in POS. I had used Microsoft Money and took us all weekend to get the switch to IBank to get the correct dates as IBank only used a 2 digit year instead of 4 but figured that one out. I've heard bad reviews of Quicken for Mac. Looked at Liquid ledger but its from Cananda and had bad customer service reviews. What is best?

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

I have been using the web-based ClearCheckbook for ages now. It's pretty awesome:
