Hi I have recently gone to Mac from PC and I am so in love with OS X I was wondering is it possible to fully convert a laptop from Windows 7 to OS X? I dont mean with a virtual machine, I know how to do that, I mean a clean install of Lion from scratch, replacing windows, not just masking it. It runs off Intel and has enough RAM etc.

If the laptop is a Macbook Pro or Macbook Air, then installing Lion is trivial, but if you are asking, what I think you are asking which is running OS X on a non-Apple laptop, then no that's not allowed and we won't help you..

Apple's EULA for OS X is explicit - it has to be installed on Apple hardware. Since you've already got a Mac, enjoy that and rest assured knowing that OS X can share files and play nice with your Windows machine as it is now.
