Itunes crashing

Hi all, downloaded latest version of itunes, now itunes crashes all the time. I did not have time machine on for this computer. I would like to un-install the latest itunes version or otherwise fix the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There is no uninstall for iTunes. Just Drag it to the trash. You could try getting an older version off another mac and putting it on a USB flash drive and transfering it to the application folder on your mac, but that probably wont work.

You could have a problem with your iTunes library. You could verify this by either creating a new library (hold option when opening iTunes) or creating a new user for testing purposes.
If the new iTunes library doesn't crash then the issue is with your Library.
