I've been trying to do this for some time. I'd like to make Mail on OSX behave like Mail on iOS. In other words, I don't want every email downloaded off of Gmail. I just want say the last 100 or so with the ability to search for additional emails that are in my Gmail account when I'm connected to the Internet. I don't want it to download my entire inbox and clutter my hard drive as I really don't need offline access to my email account.
Is there a setting I just haven't correctly tweaked or do I need to look at other programs. I've been using Sparrow but it also is a downloader. Any assistance would be appreciated! |
