Just had to re install OS 10.4 to my "Sawtooth" G4 867.....
My Upgrade to OS 10.5 disk won't work to get the OS back to 10.5.8.. Frustrating I had permissions problems with several files & I changed permissions on my HD & it's partition, as well as an attached USB 2 HD. I managed to get the USB HD unlocked using terminal commands.. BUT the HD partition is not mounting!! DiskTools is showing it as there & OK ?? Can't figure this one out..... Any ideas out there ?? Any Terminal commands to slap some sense into this thing ?? Thanks |
