Using "Thunderbolt" to conect to TV
Hi All - I am a noob so please be gentle!

I want to be able to connect my macbook pro to my TV and I vaguely remember the sales assistant saying I could use the Thunderbolt cable.

My TV has a standard PC monitor cable (I have used it as a PC monitor before).

Is there a cable that has a Thunderbolt connection one end and a standard PC monitor connection at the other?

    Thanks all.

    Specs:
    15in i7 MacBook Pro, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, 500GB HD
You will need one of these cable "adapters" and the normal cable.
