printer font size

dot1q is offline
whenever i print a document (word, pages, emails), the font size is bigger than normal.

what settings do i check to adjust this?

please advise. thanks

Mac Specs: 27" iMac i5, 3.2 GHz, iPad 3, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4, 3 iPods, OS X 10.9.2

Font size is determined by the application. Or are you saying that even if you select a normal font size in whatever application you're using, that the font is still printing out as large? In that case, tell us which printer you're using and if the latest OS X drivers for it are installed.
