Hi, I'm trying to connect with my iBook G4 to any of our company meters that have RS-232 serial ports. The normal way should be to use a USB-to-Serial cable, load an FTDI driver (e.g. from Prolific), connect the USB-to-Serial cable and connect through a terminal app. I've already done this but do not see a response in the terminal window. My guess is that there is no connection via usbserial0. How would you suggest troubleshooting this? Thanks!
QUOTE Thanks
